What To Expect
We think we have created a very welcoming, caring and comprehensive practice and we think you will too.
If you have x-rays at a previous dentist, please have them forwarded to our office. Call us and we can help you with this. Full mouth x-rays are required for all patients. We take a Panoramic only once every 5 years and bite wing x-rays generally once a year.
The first visit for an adult new patient is with the doctor for approximately 60 minutes. At this first visit the doctor will first talk with you to understand what your priorities are for your oral health and your smile. The doctor will then chart all your existing teeth and fillings for our records. A comprehensive periodontal (gum) exam is also completed and an oral cancer screening is provided. At this point, the doctor can then determine any restorative work that may be needed. At this time a cleaning is then scheduled. Some patients need an hour for a cleaning and other patients may need 90 minutes.
We all look forward to meeting you.
Drs. Stephen J. Kerr, J. Devon Lutz, William Olafson, Sarah Stipho, Candace Wolkowicz and Jacinthe Giroux
